Aging 100 Announces Recipient for Respite Care Grant For a Family Dealing with Dementia

We announced in November that we were teaming up with HFC (formerly Hilarity For Charity) to provide an in-home respite care grant for a family caregiver of a person living with memory loss, cognitive issues, and/or a diagnosis of dementia and/or Alzheimer’s disease.

The purpose of the in-home care grant is to provide temporary relief for a caregiver, giving them time to rest, recharge and focus on their personal and professional life.

We are excited to announce, a family in Georgia has been selected to receive the respite care grant.

Delivered through, Home Instead, the world's leading provider of personalized in-home care services, the Recharge Relief Grant provides 50 hours of free, professional, in-home care. Alzheimer’s care services funded through the grant program, will be delivered by a highly skilled and trained Home Instead CAREGiver.

It is Aging 100's honor to support this family with this grant.
